DUMBO Open Studios Art Walk + Mediterranean Brunch
For one weekend each year, hundreds of the talented artists who work and/or live in the DUMBO and Vinegar Hill neighborhoods throw open their studio doors to the public — and we will be there to witness it all!
Seeing an artist’s studio and work in process is like getting a window into their soul, but attending an open studios can feel overwhelming for the unfamiliar. In order to help you get the most out of the experience, I have curated a selection of my favorite female identifying artists to feature, helping you discover some of the best local artistic talent, up-close-and-personal.
This year, we’ll have the special opportunity to be led by Artist, Curator and Founder of WOArt, Christina Massey, whose mixed media sculptures and paintings are made from repurposed materials and abstracted from Nature.
Art-full members are also invited to join for a Mediterranan brunch at stunning Celestine overlooking the Manhattan bridge beforehand.
The event is gender inclusive and open to all with an interest in art and creative expression in its many forms (no artistic knowledge or experience required).
